I also got the MV105 last week (the seller was out of stock on the 108). I've had the MV400 videoscope for a while- with both 8.5/5.5mm. For the money it's a great tool. The MV400 & MV200 scopes use the same imager heads as the Maxi MV105/8. (So you can just get a spare 8.5mm imager for less $$ than the MV108).
Personally I've found the lighting on the 5.5mm imager to be weak- I can only see things within 2" or so, unless there is ambient light. The 8.5mm imager is MUCH better. (I wish Autel made a fixed 90* side view imager- I haven't found any mirror attachment that was worth bothering with).
The MV105 "works" on my Maxisys mini- better screen than MV400 -BUT- the software doesn't fuction for zoom (or illumination) control. It's apparently a work in progress- with low priority. The usb cord is short- an extension is a good idea. The usb interface also lets you use the scope with a laptop- windows treats it as a webcam so apps like YawCam can show it on the screen (and do captures, etc).
